We live in a very unstable world today. And what this world needs, what the church needs, is some rock solid men who live for Jesus!

It seems like there are no absolutes anymore. Moral relativism, political expedience and simply trying to survive have many men feeling unstable. Trying to stand on your values and beliefs can make you feel like a man jumping from ice floe to ice floe. Each one teeters when it takes your weight, and you wonder if you will slip off into the icy water or if your footing will stabilize, at least for a while. What if you didn’t have to jump- if you could stand on solid rock instead of tilting ice? What if you could walk with confidence, even while those around you were slipping and sliding through life?

What would it take to live your life like that? You would need to be vigilant, prepared for both threats and opportunities. You would want to have a solid understanding of your beliefs. You would need to have courage to stand up to the challenge, and strength that comes from training and preparation. Most of all, you would need to be confident in your identity. When you know Christ loves you, it makes it possible for you to love others. This is what it means to be a Rock Solid Man.

And this is what the Rock Solid Men’s Conference will help you become! I want YOU to experience this conference! The church needs godly men who are growing in their walk with Christ. This conference will help you do just that – AND it’s a lot of fun! You will interact with others from NBC and you will love the speaker. I have heard Dr. Pete Alwinson and you will be blessed. He leads a men’s ministry and he knows men and their challenges.

Get all the info on the enclosed flier and register today or at the church.

Fri. March 3 7 pm-9:30 pm & Sat. Mar. 4th 8 am - 12 noon.

Pre-Registration is $20.00 or $25.00 day of event.

coming.... April 21 from 6:30pm- 12:30 am (that's the 22nd)

FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 2017 6:30PM-12:30AM EDT

The Bible is the foundation for faith among followers of Christ in churches around the world. Yet many such Christians never think to ask why this is the case. After all . . .
How did we get this holy book?
Who decided what would and wouldn't be included in it?
How do we know it's true? Are there any errors in it?
Is it necessary? Is it sufficient? Is it authoritative for my life?
How can I understand it?
Even as Christians ask and answer such pivotal questions, the culture around us asks even more pressing questions: Isn’t the Bible antiquated and outdated? Isn’t it chauvinistic and offensive? Isn’t it downright deceptive and ultimately dangerous?

During this Secret Church, we will explore answers to critical questions about the Bible in order to discern what place it should (or should not) have in the lives of Christians and the implications those answers have for our lives, our families, and our churches in the culture around us.
